Winnibigosh Perch?

Anybody having any luck in Winni or the area lakes? We are heading out for our annual perch jerking week. The last 3 years have been really slow. We are almost ready to change locations. Any help would be appreciated. Someone mentioned Round Lake last year. Is that still going? Do the fish have a lot of grubs? Thanks very much! Mrt.

Fishing a new lake not too far from Winni thui summer for Sunfish. Catching an occasional jumbo perch, 10 inches or more, almost every time out. We have caught no small perch.

Fished Winni last week. 8 people came home with 212 perch. We released 6 times that many, maybe more. We fished 6 days and about 7 hours a day, so it was not easy. The lake has changed and not for the better. We took a guide on Sunday and had a great time. We caught about as many with the guide as we averaged on our own, but it was good to see that we were on the right track. Nice vacation but the fishing was slow. Mrt.
