Default Seats

Ok I have the Lund pro ride seats... I have one where the plastic on the bottom of the seat has broke and cracked that the seat base mounts to. Is there a way to replace this part and where to get that part? Or am I stuck in having to get another full seat? Was hoping to replace the plastic bottom and not have to get a whole new seat n be stuck with a broken seat? Has anyone else have this happen as well?

How old is this seat? Can you post a picture because I am not picturing where it is ripped? Yes, we have had some rippage also.

Buddy has had this happen several times - he's of the larger size 'fisher-person' - dealer replaced under warranty thru Lund.

If it a atwood base I called the company directly and they shipped one to me the next day at no charge.

I'm on my 3 rd pro ride seat in a year. The seat keeps tearing at the seam on the bottom. This is on a new pro v with less than 80 hours on it and I weigh 170 pounds.

If you don't get satisfaction from the manufacturer, try a place that makes boat covers. Mine replaced the rigid part inside the back of my Lund seat...."yeah, we do that all the time."

If you have a seat that continues to rip - after replacement or a seat base that cracks again after replacement - it would make sense to switch to a different seat for your use in the boat.

It would seem that the seat design and construction is not up to the rigors to which you subject the seat.

Be safe

This is the base I was referring to. Sorry it took so long been a busy fall. Is there a place where one could get one of these? Not sure it will be replaced by dealer as its a few years old.

Sounds like the seats need to be redesigned, or a different seat entirely should be used.
