Default NHL Playoffs

First round and the roller coasters are off and running. Home teams rolling over giving up home ice advantages. Teams with their backs against the wall early. Like I've heard, the first round can be and often is the craziest. Hakws better wake the f up. Skating without any real purpose right now. Crow likely to sit tonight though hardly his fault alone let alone to any great extent. Wild? same story? Anybody home? Not playing like the club that was at/near the top of the division for the whole season. Though Penguins are truly a top tier team I expected a little more out of Columbus to this point as well.

And the Cubs just got swept over the weekend, admittedly to a quality team but in unceremonious fashion to be sure. AND the Bulls won their payoff opener???...IN Boston???? ARRRRGGGGHHHH my world is upside down right now.

Been a Hawks fan since my dad took me to a game in the late 1960s.
Won't ever give up on them no matter what.
With that being said, I can honestly say that Nashville has just been too dominant and their goalie unbelievable.
However - the Hawks have to put a few in the net what with the talent we have.
We've lost our last five games and have been shut out on the last two games - AT HOME!
No excuse for this level of performance.

The Blackhawks 9 periods and one O.T. with only 2 goals to show for it. Heart breaking loss last game up 2-0 going into the 3rd period and give up a tying goal with about 4 minutes remaining to go on and lose in O.T.
Better leave it all on the table tonight 7:00 pm start.

I love my Blackhawks. But our year is done.
But I extend full compliments to the Nashville preds. Your team dominated and earned each win.

I'm a big Ottawa fan so I am pretty happy today with them up 3-1 over Boston, but I had 5 Chicago players in my pool so I am just as done as they are.

Hope to see some changes to the Hawks roster this fall after being swept by Nashville tonight.
Hawks had the second best record in club history for in season play and to be swept out in the first round is just unacceptable.
Go Blues.

Yep! Time to break up 'the core'. Jonathan Toews needs to go!
