Default LMS 480 work with LGC 4000?

Have a boat with a Lowrance LMS 480 and an external LGC 2000 puck. The puck is broken and I have an LGC 4000 brand new for a replacement. The pigtail coming off the new puck doesn't match up to the cable I have on the boat. Are these 2 units compatible?
