Ok, that's just garbage. Do you carry a single shot pistol?

The point was relying on round capacity may just get you killed.

Making the shots count is far more important that how many rounds you carry imho.

I still think comments like girls cannot cycle a semi auto is just a set up. Can girls even golf?! Weird.

I don't think that there is anything weird about the comment.

Thirty years ago my wife did have a problem cycling a semi-auto. Since then she has been to the gym and has more upper body strength.

It is a breeze for guys. It is my understanding that some older people also have the problem.

No offense.

Not sure what she was cycling, we will be cycling the gen 4 since that was the OP.

My daughter. Unloaded. She did both hands. I asked her for trigger control but she said I was lucky she even touched it. I love her and am very happy she is still with us.

I was carrying a colt 1911 and have switched to a glock 21 for winter time and a glock 30 for summer time. I love them both. My sons duty gun is a glock 21 ans I figure if he trusts his life to it every time he puts on his uniform then its good enough for me.

And rebs, from the rest of us, please thank him for "putting the uniform on".

I owned a pair of Glocks back in the mid '90's and could never get past that 2 piece trigger and the atrocious trigger pull! I ended up selling them both to a buddy. I assume they eventually fixed that because I know a ton of experienced shooters who swear by them now.

I stuck with my 92F compact, Browning Hi-Power and my little Springfield P9 compact. Those were my three favorites. I tried to like the Ruger's and S&W's, but they seldom "felt right" in my hands. Handguns and fishing poles are all about feel in my opinion.
