Kudos to Cabelas

The other day I ordered 2 Pflueger president reels, for $59.99. I saw today that they were on sale for $49.99. I did a live chat with a Cabelas rep. and less than 10 minutes they gave me a gift card for the differance($20). It's always a pleasure working with Cabelas customer service. Again great job to Cabelas.

Cabelas does try hard- although they are not perfect. Saw today they are opening some smaller stores called Outposts. Might be a good idea.

They get it right more often than wrong. Outposts...sounds interesting or expensive!

I love the Cabellas near us. I can spend hours uploading some pictures that were taken on a visit there. My hunny just bought me a blue I love fishing shirt from there for a very reasonable price. I also liked their no hassle you have to buy this because you looked at it attitude. They were also very knowledgeable on their products...a big plus for me.

I received a Cabelas ad today in the mail. They have the Pflueger President reels on IM8 rods for $49 during their doorbuster deals March 3. May have to make another phone call.

XML spinning rod, Pfleuger Supreme reel combo on sale for $119.98. Reg price for rod is $139, reel $99. Internet sale but the store will honor the price. Last thing I need is another rod & reel but with my Cabelas points I got them for free. The sales person let me pick whatever rod & reel size I wanted.

That sale online is on the 8035 and 8040 reels only, by the way it looks.

Where can you find this online? I just ordered this reel last week..
