After seeing the XS version, I may have to sell my ZV18. What an amazing boat!

That's what I was thinking. In 2015, this was one of Tuffy's most popular boats. The X190 provides EXCELLENT value.

To be fair, with all those accessory add ons I am sure any boat would be priced beyond your thoughts. It's not like this boat is prohibitively expensive, you just have equipment desires that would drive the price up on any boat you tried to add them to. I mean, you have over $7000 in upgrades to the trailer alone! My whole boat/motor/trailer package was a little over $7000 US!

That's a fair point, and I understand that no one is going to pay full retail. There are other ways to cut costs too such as ordering, installing your own graphs and other accessories as you can. But that could be A LOT of money out of pocket. I don't need a lecture on finance and interest etc, etc. The reality is a lot of folks finance stuff they don't have the money to pay for, graphs would probably be included on that list.

Point is...it's expensive no matter how you order it up. If Lund was aiming for Blue Collar guys, I think they missed the mark. I'll be watching the classifieds for used ones.

Another interesting fact is that there wasn't a pricing option for a 200 Pro XS motor. The site had Pro XS all the way up to and including 175 Pro XS. A 200 Pro XS would be a great motor on this boat. More money, but if you're pulling the trigger, you're pretty much "pi$$ing in the ocean" regarding a price increase.

If that is off boat builder...and I am guessing it is...right?
That is MSRP and never realistic.

Plus you have added in items that are already included as standard features (like hydraulic steering, is one I see at first glance)
Plus... your trailer price is about $5K high, because a trailer is included in the standard features. When you go to a tandem, it is merely an upgrade.
I could go on.....
But, I suggest you talk to a dealer or two and see what the real price is.

Also...add up what you there for electronics costs.
It is a heck of a bunch of cost. They cost what the cost ...no matter what boat they are on.

Have a dealer or two figure a legitimate and correct price for you.

Merc doesn't make a 25" 200 ProXS only a 20", the 200 Optimax is made in a 25" shaft model. The 200 Optimax is a strong motor though, no doubt I would take that over the 175 ProXS, looks like about $2,500 on the boat builder to go from the 175 ProXS to the 200 Opti.

BTW, I'm not a big bass boat guy but I think the XS looks like a sweet boat!

The reason there is no option for a 200 pro XS. Is because they don't make one. The 200 optic is already considered a strong 200

Thanks for that info. I wasn't aware Merc didn't have that offering.

Regarding the hydraulic steering: that's the upgrade for a tilt helm. It's not letting me deduct the standard trailer. What you say makes sense, but not sure how to get the builder to reflect it.

Please go on, what else is not correct?

I'm not sure what the point of the builder is then if the prices generated are fiction (I think you're correct BTW, nobody pays retail) because the prices are from Lund...what else is a guy to think after building the boat on their site except that this thing is really expensive.
