Prop hub question?
I'm looking to buy a used prop for a spare. Are hubs universal? If not what do I have to look for to match up or what would it cost to put in a new hub? Thanks for info. Never bought a used prop before.

All depends on prop. What are you looking at and what motor is it going on?

Laser Ii
Looking at a laser II. Going on a Yamaha. I have the same prop now on my yamaha so I know it can fit but not sure yet what it came off of from the seller and if it is the same hub.

Some props have built in hubs and others have removable one. I have a Laser II sitting in my garage that has the hub built in.

I think that is my confusion. Mine must have a built in hub to fit my motor. The prop I'm looking at for a spare is the same prop but different hub. From what I found out today I think I just need to buy an adapter and slip it in correct?

Yes you'll just need the right hub kit for that prop to work on your Yamaha.
