Default Vermillion

Our fishing club is talking about a trip next June to Vermillion. They plan on targeting mainly walleyes. We've never been there before. I've heard parts of the lake are better for walleye fishing. What part of the lake should we be looking at for this. What resorts do you recommend? Place that serve food would be great, but not a deal breaker.

The better walleye fishing is on the east end, but the better resorts are on the west end. I've stayed on both ends, and I think the west end is a bit more scenic, but the east is def. better walleye fishing.

It really depends on what type of accommodations you are looking for. There are lots of great places all over the lake.

Generally speaking April - July the walleye fishing in the western basin is good. Huron east the fishing gets good late June - Oct.

Good fishing is great, and a nice resort makes for a good trip. One think we all agree on is a resort that has A/C in the cabins. We will fish in the heat, but, we will not sleep in it. Any resort suggestions?
