If I was in the market for a new gas grill I'd at least consider an MHP. Take a look at their cast stainless burner and you'll see what I mean. I just bought a kamado style grill and love it but while I was at the bbq shop I saw one of these MHP's and a cross section of the burner and was blown away. They have what they call a hybrid grill that has a traditional grill format as well a an infared burner for cooking steaks and such. A little pricey but no more so than a Weber. But the Webers' sure are pretty.

Default grills

I am in the market also, i think i am going with another Holland and a infrared side burner.

I looked at the mhp but the hybrid with the infrared and double burner is quite a bit more than the holland combo.

My last holland i bought at a garage sale for $75, it was terribly mistreated, i have been abusing it for another 12 years before the pan and body finally rusted out, burner is still fine.

Anyone out there have some opinions on this infrared stuff?
