No BS, but I have loaded the boat, I'm guessing 30 or so times since replacing the rollers with bunks on the back and only once I had the boat about 2-3" from being centered. Don't know what happened that time but all I did was give it one little shove and it slid right down into place.

Replace all of your keel rollers with these self centering Stoltz rollers.
As the boat is loaded, the rolling roller will drive the keel to the center of the trailer and center it perfectly every time. REW Install the wider brackets and the wider self centering rollers and your off center boat will be a thing of the past. |

Rollers
My Lund had a Shorelander when I got it and it loaded really well for about a year. Then it started to load to one side or the other. Try as I may I couldn't figure out what was different. Sometimes would have to back in and float it and center it. Got to be really tiring. Next boat had bunks which I thought was only for bass boats at the time and was apprehensive. After using it my next question was why did I ever have a roller trailer and who would want one. Only way I would go back to a roller is for a smaller boat on shallow lakes with no ramp. If we all went to bunks the guys who make trailer guides would be out of business. Hope it fixes your problem.

For any of your keel or bow rollers, use the appropriate Stoltz self centering roller.
http://www.overtons.com/modperl/prod...SHOPPING_74195 After you install them, insure that the boat is level, that the weight is equally distributed on the trailer and that all rollers are adjusted correctly to take their share of the load. I expect that you will find your troubles gone. Be safe REW |

Shorelandr roller trailer
Just traded in my 1850 Tyee with a Shorelandr tandem. Trailer came with guideons. The SHORELANDR guideons were springloaded where they attach to the trailer (so you could bankshot off one if necessry) and stuck up higher than the gunnel so that you could see that you were centered. Great addition - fish Nebraska, Woming and South Dakota where the wind almost always blows across the launch sites. Might be cheaper than a conversion.

I just replaced my rollers with bunks from shorelandr, very simple and only took about a half hour at the ramp. The bunks allowed me to wiggle boat on the trailer even if i was slightly off center versus the boat not moving at all with the rollers. I think this will solve the issue, the cost was about 250.00

I replaced only the back rollers with bunks on my tandem Shoreland'r. I couldn't get much help up in Canada so I found a dealer across the line at Devils Lake, North Dakota. It was just a few hours round trip for me to pick them up at the dealer. Although pricey, $800, it was well worth it.
I was really frustrated with the loading and unloading prior to the install.
