I believe it's actually May 28th thru 30th isn't it. Also, I think I'd rather pay a higher fee and win some $$$'s. While I am just fishing to learn and how well you do as an am depends pretty much on the luck of your draws, it would be fun to have a little cash incentive. Maybe when I get there I'll just have to get a bunch of us ams together, throw in a hondo each and winner takes all. No one ever remembers who took second anyway.... :)

After seeing the prize list and than noticing it states VERY GOOD PRIZE LIST I'm wondering if they looked through the list before they wrote that!! It looks to me like cabelas emptied out there bargain cave and mercury is trying to make money instead of donating anything.I like the idea that you get something no matter what, but it looks to me like if I were fishing I would be doing allot more drinking at night than in previous years when you could win a boat instead of a fish finder, really nothing to fish for!!!

Without the Am's there will be no pro-am. My prediction is next year there will be no PWT. FLW will be the only game in town. The quality co-anglers are for sure on the FLW side already.

wow..
not that I'm against winning prizes but it looks more like the list of giveaways and raffle prizes for some tournaments the night before the tournie.

For the price of entry most Am's would rather win something they really want... how about.. MONEY. gas cards?

Hate to win the event and already have that stuff on my boat.
