Default Lake Francis Case salmon

Its getting to be a long winter and I was thinking the other day why do they not stock salmon in Francis Case. Im sure there are a few in there that have washed down from above. I have seen them caught while walleye fishing on Sharp. I would think the water is deep enough and cool enough at Ft Randall to keep them happy. Anyone with any thoughts or insight. Thanks.

I would assume because there is no spawning station for them to make it to and take their eggs while they are ripe. That's just a guess...no idea why in all reality.
