Bottom bouncer rods to stay in rod holder until fish on!

As the years go by my body is getting worn out from sports and work . I've been looking for some spinning bouncer rods in the 7 to 9 foot range that I can leave in the rod holders.Would like a good tip to detect bites. Haven't had much luck in my search, wondering if I should be looking for steel head rods? Thanks to anyone who can give me some assistance! Tight Lines
