by far tlr it is a lime and rust remover fast simple and easy spray on rinse off then wax with a GOOD TOO VERY GOOD QUALITY WAX and you will be happy i wax 2 times a year and the boat seems too stay a lot cleaner that way

I ended up trying the 50/50 vinegar and water (had some around the house and thought..."What the heck"). Worked like a charm. A good coat of McGuire's cleaning wax and it is definately back to showroom condition!

glad it worked out for you, best part is it cost you about 25cents to get rid of the hard water spots LOL.......

I also have posted i use the vinegar trick. Does work outstanding. I have heard of it removing the wax, but have not experienced this.

there was a guy on here years ago who was a chemist, he called bs on viniger removing wax,

Default Larsen Sales Wonderfoam

Click on my username and look in my photo album. I have before and after pics of my boat an motor using wonderfoam. It's as simple as spraying it on and wiping it off.
