Default Shaft Length for Minn Kota on Tyee 1900

Does any one out there have a Lund Tyee 1900 that feels a 60 Inch shaft is too short. One dealer told me I need a 72 inch shaft. Seems long! Fishing will be trolling on Green Bay for walleye and musky fishing on larger northern WI lakes

I have a Barron with 57" bow depth and definitely need a 72"er. I would think with the 48" bow depth of the 1900 Tyee you could get by with 60" but don't take my word for it. I'm a longer is better kinda guy!

I have a Fisherman 1800 with a 60" shaft and I still wish I would have gone 72". It doesn't take much chop for the prop to come out of the water.

Go with the 72, you'll never regret it.
