Default Stracraft fishmaster 2100...pump to livewell?

I have had the boat for a year know, and hav'nt needed the livewell. I use a cooler with block and cube ice.

Anyway, found out the livewell pump/hose is supplying the washdown system. Wondering if I can put in a "t" or better to get a separate livewell pump on a separate line. I figured I can get access via the floor but dont know for sure.

No reason why not.
But do you really want the hassle and trouble of a livewell?

After all, it is pretty easy to decide if you are going to keep a fish isn't it?

So, doesn't it really make more sense to keep your dead well - i.e. cooler with ice in it?

Then he would need to keep the fish alive until they were weighed in.

Mark,
It should be a pretty easy and straight forward job.

I would just go to the hardware store and get plastic valves to affect the change in the plumbing. Should cost about $10 and an hour or so of your time.

Mark, what year is your fishmaster? I bought a new one last fall and have seperate pumps for the livewell and washdown system. I haven't tried it yet, but am thinking you could get access at the back by pulling the inside walls of the center transom compartment.
