Default looking for recommendation on trolling rod

Anyone here recommend a good walleye trolling rod for cranks and to put a Abu 5501c on? I like the 7.5 foot range mediums but cant seem to find any with medium power. Thank you.

Check out any Scheels. They have a wide selection of styles, lengths and price ranges.

I have scheels poles for trolling and one muskie pole also.
3ea 5'
2ea 8'6"
3ea 14'
1ea 8'6" muskie pole

Broke a 14' tip last year during a tourney, took it back to scheels and walked out with another pole. No questions asked.

Daiwa Heartland in 7'6".

I have used many different rods and these by far are my favorites.

Sometime, while trolling, you will snag your lure or bottom bouncer. Your boat won't stop on a dime.
You can protect a graphite rod with a loose drag, or buy a tougher rod. Ugly Sticks are really good if the rod will be in a rod holder. If you hold the trolling rod and want to feel everything, use no-stretch line. I've heard my graphite rods make ugly crunching sounds before my boat stopped, so I'd suggest a composite rod or Ugly Stick for any rod dedicated to trolling. Both also cost less than a high-modulus graphite.

I would go with 8`6 rods that way if you like trolling then you can pick up some 5` shorty's and run 4 rods. Get the 8`6 with the collapsible handles and storage is a non issue. The longer rod works better if doing tight contour trolling or just have to do tight turns they keep the line farther from the boat. .Scheels 8`6 trolling rods medium light have served me well for in-line planer boards, 3-ways, long lining they fit the bill.
