Default Instrument panel/switch issues - connection or ground?

2005 Pro-V. Recently, with the engine running, when I use any switch on my instrument panel (interior lights, bilge, livewell) the needle on my trim gauge drops. When I turn off the switch, the trim gauge needle goes back to where it was. I replaced my cranking battery, but it made no difference.

Any suggestions on where to look and what to look for?

Check the ground on your trim gauge.
Also, check the ground wire that runs from your battery to your distribution panel, and the connections to the ground bus for your switch and fuse panel.

Be safe
