Default Crestliner Commander 1850...Yahoooooooo!!!!

Just ordered a new Commander 1850 with a 150 4 stroke Merc!!! Any of you run this boat? I think it will be the perfect walleye rig, especially for trolling. Gonna be a long 8 weeks til she gets here...

The 150 on that rig should PURR right along. I have an 1850 Lund Tyee with a 175 Yamaha HPDI that I love - but a fishing partner has a similar rig and he is simply delighted with it. While I love my rig - his just glides along so quietly with his Merc 4 stroke. Totally effortlessly.
I am 100% sure you will enjoy the ride!!
Hope the hard water lets off soon so you can break it in.
Good luck!!

Thanks for the replies everyone! It definitely will be a long 8 weeks til it gets here.... I am getting the full enclosure package with it. will be nice fishing in the rain and staying dry. I am going to put a 112 thrust Minn Kota with IPilot Link on the bow and hook it up to my Helix 12 and do contour trolling with it. Can't wait til Spring!!!

Thanks! I almost went with the 115 HP but thought it my be a little underpowered so I opted for the 150. 150 is the max HP for the boat so it should run sweet!

Just crawled around in one last weekend at the Washington State Sportsmans show. Nice boat; very high sides almost look as tall as my 2075 Tyee sides.

I wanted the fish/ski style; if not that Commander would have been on my very short list for sure.

Pics and report when you get her please.

Rick
