Looking for some opinions on whose braid is the most sensitive.

All of them are very sensitive being no stretch, I think it lies more on the type.
Round braids work better on a baitcast reel, such as Berkley Braid, Power Pro, and others. Fireline is a flat braid that is designed for spinning reels. Doesn't mean it doesn't work on both however. So try some out and see what happens. Suffix 832 seems to be very popular here, and I don't think that is because of sensitivity, probably just more manageable. |

Sensitivity?
As stated they are all pretty much equal. To go a step further they would need to be compared on exactly the same setup and in a controlled and measureable environment. If you can tell the sensitivity difference after that ... you have better feel than I ever dreamed of having. Seriously ... there is a place and time for everything and I would be more concerned about getting a "rig" ( rod, reel, line ) put together that I am comfortable with and allows me the feel and confidence I think fits my needs. Get it right and you will feel them bat their eyelashes at your bait from 6" away ... not really ... but it sure felt like that when I started using braid to jig with. Morton |

They are much the same,It comes down to personal preference in braids, I used to fish power pro, until the new suffix 832 came out. now all my reels are spooled with it. Sensitivity also has to do with the rod, A 1/16 to 1/4 oz rod will telegraph the bite better than that of a heavyer rod

I have Suffix 832 on my main walleye spinning outfit and have been fishing it all summer....I am very pleased with the way it handles and the feel of it, strength, etc. Only thing I would like is for it to be a bit easier to tie a knot in, but I have changed my knots a bit and am fine now. Very sturdy and sensitive line. I will likely spool that on all my rigs next season.

I like to try different lines each trip. I had some Northland walleye bionics flouro on my St. Croix medfast rod.Couldn't feel the jig very well.Switched to a Spiderwire braid, I could feel the jig sliding down the sides of the rocks! Next trip will find more braid on my reels!! Try both and find the line that works for your needs!

I have settled on 832 or the Power Pro Super Slick 8. I use mostly 832 but I really like the Timber Brown color of the PPSS8. Most of the rivers I fish are that root-beerish stain so it disappears better.

Its all a matter of choice I have used Power Pro and Sufix 832. I like the Sufix 832 better. My father uses Cajun Red braid he seems to like that as well.
