Navionics Map Details

I have a Lowrace LCX-27C and an Iowa-Minnesota Navionics chip. When I go to Brushy Creek Lake near Ft. Dodge, IA I normally get the map with just the lake contours and depths. One time when I went their earlier this summer, to my surprise, it showed the old river channels and submerged roads and bridges as well. Since then I have been trying to reproduce that but have been unsuccessful. Has anyone else had a similar situation? I think I have all the details checked on in the GPS. I'd sure like to see the extra details. Thanks in advance!!

Navionics has removed features and replaced maps with inferior maps via the offered "upgrading"

I'm just wondering if yoy were zoomed in same as before? I know with Navionics on mt HD unit I pick up detail as I zoom in.
