Has anyone tried the Garelick seat suspension system?

Edge,
Any sort of suspension system that does not allow about 5 inches of complete vertical seat movement will not be as good as a suspension seat that does offer this amount of suspension.

The garlick system works to the degree of movement that is in the seat mechanism, but remember it is very limited. Thus the amount of rough water relief is also very limited.

Be safe

I had one on my 617. It definitely helped. took the sharp bang out. I took out the rubber cushions and replaced with tennis balls. The reason I went with this because any thing else was going to set the seat up too high. I did take it out of the boat before I sold it and have it around here somewhere if your interested. I will give you a smoking hot deal. Send me a pm if interested.

My Boat came with them when I bought it. While it does help it isn't even in the same ballpark as a smooth moves. Which I have thousands of hours in seat time on the work boat. If your serious about taking the hard jolts out go with a real suspension seat. Smooth moves is going to be about the most reasonable. Some of the ones REW posted are over $5000.
