Bluegill are kind of small at Waveland right now. Shad seem to be eating all the food.
If I was looking for bluegill right now, I would go to Glen Flint. 2nd cove up from the dam on west side used to have pretty good blue gill fishing but I usually don't fish for them in the fall.

Thank You for the response. I have fished both on/off for years and for me the bluegills hve generally always been larger at Waveland. I will give it a try later this fall. Thx again
