YUCK!!!! You fishing west or more east?
I go there twice a year and fish mainly west end.
it's funny, this past June, it was hard to catch one in the slot, all too big, now it's littler ones! Oh, well. Gonna enjoy the crisp air and beautiful scenery and wildlife anyway.

Fish mainly east end although we took a run to Tom Cod earlier this week fished Mallerd, Center Bar, Cuculus and just little fish. Couple 36" Pike but the Walleys were all small. Still a great trip as it always is.

Heading to Crane, Kab and all waters in between, Saturday for a week. Anybody have a recent report or ideas where to fish? Only been up there once last year.

Just got back on Saturday from Kab. Fishing was slow but we did better than everybody else at the resort. We were pulling crank baits in 30-35 FOW. Most people were on jig & minnow, catching 2-3 fish a day. We did 5-6 a day only fishing a few hours in the AM and a few in the evening.IMG_2076.jpg

Were you pulling cranks with lead core? or were they suspended? What was the water temp? Normally this time of year ive done best on the steep breaks with a snell. Pin Cherry Island.

Went to Kab all last week and had a great trip! We just smoked the walleyes. In 4 days we must have netted over 80 fish. Lots of small ones to throw back but had enough for a couple of shore lunches and brought our limits home.

Boston, we had 1 rod set up with lead core and one with a bottom bouncer, all the bigger fish were caught on the lead core. In 35 FOW every time we past over some structure there were fish on it. Did see a few cruising around 12' Water temp was 66 on Saturday when we got there and 62 when we left a week later

Thanks for the info, cant wait to get up there. its good to here the fishing has picked up. I’ve never fished Kab with led core, may have to try that if the breaks aren’t holding fish.
