file>export> then choose the lowrance .usr format, name it and save it to your card.

did you set it up for a lowrance when you installed it?

are you using easy gps or expertgps? I think exporting is only available in expertgps

I was talking to someone that said lowrance makes a program called GDM that will convert the file format for .gpx...

still, how to you get it loaded onto the gps unit? i doubt its plug and play?

use windows explorer and treat it like a floppy disk, copy and paste the files to the card

3200, I have one, uses mapcreate 6, mapcreate 6 has a built in gdm function so the program on there website will conflict with mapcreate 6, the key is to get yout format into a readable text gps file or .low file. This is ascii text formatted so its a text edit format. Import the GPS waypoint list .low into mapcreate once there listed put the memory card in the drive and save the waypoint list as and file/export/gps file save as, I believe, the driver usually opens the card for writing to it and it happens quickly, this is a Lowrance mapcreate program data file at usr once written to the card, it uses the default name data.usr.

data.usr program data file
xlake.low lowrance gps test file
xlake.gps lakemaster

these are the three formats

If xlake.gps is readable text chg the .gps to .low and import the .low into mapcreate. those are the basics.
