Default Steel or Titanium leaders with jigs

Do any of you use steel or titainium leaders with jigs. I'm thinking of snap jigging next to weed beds or walleye fishing when Northerns or Muskies are biting off the jig.

Get either 25-30 lb Hard Nylon Mono or 20 Florocarbin and use it as your leader. I have used both and they work pretty well. Hard Nylon has been a staple for Fly Fisherman here in Colorado that fish for Pike with streamers.
