Default Clinton Lake, Kansas

I went to Clinton and worked the dam last night. I didn't see any movement yet and didn't really have any bites. Anyone having any luck yet at Clinton or any of the lakes in Kanasas?

I have heard of a couple guys going out, nothing yet down around Cheney or El Dorado. Should start up within the next 10 days I would think, but thats just based on my previous (short) experience.

This weekend looks like it could be very promising. Should have some reports on Clinton's Dam or Milford's Spillway soon.

Milford spillway was slow Sunday, caught one nice male walleye off the face of the dam at Clinton last night. Kanopolis should be getting close, might have to run up there Friday night.

what part of the dam at Kanopolis do you fish? The old rock section or the new rock section? I've fished that lake for a long time but never been there for the walleye spawn.

I fished the south end of the dam. There were some boats down on the north end but I didn't see them catching anything either. I am going to go back out Thursday night and try, hoping by this weekend or for sure next week they'll be moving in. Hope to have my boat back by then. Walking across them rocks is hard me!!

Went to Marion in the rain and cold Sunday...what a stark difference from Saturday! Anyhow, caught one small male (17") and a small crappie on the dam. Was jigging at the base where the rock meets the lake bed. Marked some decent fish along the base of the dam. With it being 80 yesterday and today this weekend should be good.

I went to Clinton last night and caught a 5lb Flathead... not what I was expecting, but no walleye. Might be at Kanopolis on Friday, but we'll see.
