Question iTroll Mounting options???

For those who have the iTroll, could you all post pictures of your mounting setup? I understand some use Velcro and others use the iTroll billet mount. I am open to different/various types of mounting setups.

I appreciate any advice and practical experiences.

I can't tell from the picture, how is the box mounted to the dash. Thanks for the idea.

mini ram with billet mount

Originally mounted to side of metal HB graph bracket.
Garmin is plastic so built a bracket and mounted that to the ram base.

Micro idle/run button at rear of boat when fighting a big one and need to reduce speed.

That looks good. I assume you purchased the billet mount from iTroll?

Yes
Ordered it with mount installed.
I believe you can order the mount/back plate and just change out the back(4 screws) yourself.

That billet mount seems to be the ticket. I am not a fan of the $90 price tag.

The real sticky, good quality duct tape is about 9 bucks a roll.

The billet mount works great and looks much better than....

Default Ram + Velcro

I bought the RAM-B-107U https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-107U and used a hacksaw & grinder to square it up to be the same dimensions as the iTroll head and then covered the surfaces with velcro (3 strips of 1"). Not quite as pretty as Joel's billet mount but I was all-in with the RAM base included for about $30.
