Default Big hands?

Just curious if your wife has big hands? Mine has small ones and she does not like the double stacks for that reason. The other is the ugly factor. She wants a nice looking pistol.

My wife is 6'1". Her hands are not big but not small either. I did not put any back strap on the gun.
Tomorrow she will get to shoot it for the first time.

I have been pressing the issue in life that function beats fashion at everything. She will enjoy it. I bought one of those healing balls to shoot at. That should be fun

For me that is a Kimber .45.

However I do have Glocks. Just not my favorite.

They sure have a bunch of customizations available these days. Maybe I will pimp out one of my Glocks.
IMHO they are so ugly they are beautiful. Maybe I will put a competition barrel in and see how she shoots.

The only pistol I did not like was my wifes .38 special. That was a true sissy pistol. Had to get rid of it. I just could not shoot that pistol with any accuracy or either could my wife.

Ha ha. That was back in the day when women were not strong enough to pull the action back on a semiautomatic or figure out how one worked So they recommended these short barreled revolvers.
Woman today are strong enough to cycle a semi auto? No.

No?
Wanna bet?

Look at the women in the pistol/three gun matches once.

But ya, some can be a bear to cycle, usually over springed to handle most any load, but match the recoil spring to the load and they usually get easier to cycle.

Wife and 14 yr old daughter cycled my G19,XDM 40 and P30. I had them pull the slide back to cycle the round and I had them use the slide release. Absolutely no problem.

Fact is I had my youngest shooting my 5906 when she was 6 so she understood the operation, the reason for use and what it does to watermelons (human simulation). I taught both girls very young that any gun anywhere is loaded and not a toy.

Ha ha. They must have grown stronger in the last 30 years. Or men's perceptions of women shooting firearms has changed.

Well, most of the tender, lovely and beautiful woman I know cannot do it. Of course there are exceptions...

I could take a pic of my 20 yr old 110 lb runway model daughter doing it? She is currently at home. Easy to do. Although she hates guns but she would do it if i ask
