my dog ate a rabbit

I thought all dogs ate stuff. My dogs favorite treat is few fresh walleye rib cages. She has to have a few every time the fillet knife comes out. I tried em once but they are too bony for me.:)

thanks for the info...so..I should wait about 3 weeks before taking a stool sample to the vet?

not really...remember, more times than not, tapeworms will not show in the fecal check....not all rabbits carry tapes...when i lived in lafayette indiana..purdue school...if i killed a rabbit on the small farm we lived on, every one had the internal cysts (tapeworm form in the rabbit)..across town, none of the rabbits had cysts....not sure about the 90% thing..kinda doubt it...but i really dont know for sure...nemex will not touch tapes...nemex is pyrantyl pamoate and is an excellent wormer for roundworms and hook worms...will not touch whips or tapes....steve
