My best friend and companion Storm. Currently getting chemo in a tough battle with cancer to stay out of the line you get your wings in.

Sadly, my furry little buddy Storm didn't make it. 4 rounds of chemo and couldn't stop the cancer. He passed on June 30 after the cancer spread to his bones.

Meet his furry little reincarnation. Sir Thunder Storm. Thunder for short. Breeding/conception date is the same day Storm passed, June 30. How's that for a weird coincidence! Does so many unique things Storm did, I stop every once in a while and wonder if he's really in there somehow. lol

Touching..Things work in mysterious ways.

A couple years ago our Great Dane passed away at 6 years old, from bone cancer. He was a special dog to us and we were heartbroken. A short time later, we were blessed with another Great Dane. Those 2 dogs share more traits than I could begin to explain. We think they might share some soul too..

My 4 1/2 year old Llewellin Setter last weekend grouse hunting for the first time. She did well until she impaled herself with I presume a stick in the chest area. Had to staple her up that evening and then she had the rest of the weekend off. She will be hunting pheasants in ND this coming weekend!
