Default Best Tactics For Fish in the Boat?

What is on average the most productive way to put walleye in the boat?
Trolling, jigging, drifting bouncers, trolling bouncers, casting, etc

My family that comes fishing with me is getting bored. im going to st marys river in 1 month and need to actually catch something.

I don't really even care what.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with that river or what age and experience level of your family members, but my gang always seemed to stay involved when drifting Lindy rigs and it seems like something eventually starts biting.

A guide for a day for you and one or two will be money well spent. Fun and now you know what the guides do! Bob
