2 of us fished from Catawba yesterday, Fri. 3-8 pm went sw of green and toward reefs. Water carity veried, wasn't horrible trolled and jigged took 0000000. Only 2 seperate fisherman I spoke to said they took 1 fish. It will only get better as time goes, remember it blew all week.

It was a tough bite Saturday. The radio chatter was discouraging. First time with the trolling gear out and I got to see the boards go back four times, with three of those ending up in the net was a blessing.

Sunday was tough for my boat. The wind was howling. I know some people that got some fish. I guess I used up all of my luck on Saturday.

Howdy:

I fished with a buddy on Saturday at Tousaint Reef from about 1:00-4:30 (would have stayed out longer but he started to get sea sick). Picked up one nice eating size walleye and had one other bite. The fish came on a 1oz Whistler (silver) tipped with a shiner in about 12 feet of water. I saw two other fish caught and know of three others. The forecast was for 2-4 footers and we got all of that for sure. Nice to get a fish in the boat, but is was an unpleasant affair. Things will pick up soon. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Ruddiger

I popped 3 nice ones out of fenwick 1- 27, 1- 28.5 - 1 right at 30. Last week iI asked about tots and someone said, " forget about the tots " Ha that was the lure of choice. Like the previous poster said " get off the notebook and wet a line. BTW - nothing on reefrunners and huskys. The little lady lost 2 on jigs. Im headin out in an hour or so.

Thanks for releasing that pig, I'll try to catch and release her this spring.
