I did the VJP with my first and the VJP and HZP with my second. Didn't do the VGP with either but wish I would have. I would highly recommend doing the testing. You learn so much about your dog and it's ability plus the resources you gain from all the other owners, breeders, and judges will be great. It's an amazing process.

Congrats on your hunting dog. If you're like me, you'll never look back. What breeder is he/she coming from?

Would be more than glad to talk dogs offline anytime as well.

Best so far is my Wachtelhund. Will hunt anything, works close and is great in the boat.
