South Dakota Walleye Classic
South Dakota Walleye Classic, Inc. tournament staff, had a special for all Pro's at the PWT tournament in Mobridge, SD. Because the Cabela's NTC fisherman did not have the opportunity to register before the June 1st deadline (fee was increased from $1000.00 to $1250.00). Therefore, the committee has decided to waive the additional $250.00 Pro entry fee for the tournament August 27, 28, 29, 2008. We will offer anyone that wants to register as a PRO between June 12 thru 15th a special "one time" fee of $1,000.00, or during the Cabela's NTC tournament in Mobridge, SD. We will have representative's there to take your entries. Contact us at www.sdwalleyeclassic.com or call Angie toll free 1-877-279-8285 or Brad at toll free 1-877-357-3583 or Dick at (605) 649-7970.

RE: South Dakota Walleye Classic
How many entries do you have for Pro's and Co's? We know the payouts for a full field, can you give us an idea on what it would be at 50% and 75% of a full field?

RE: South Dakota Walleye Classic
The last post is a very good question and one that I think would be in the best interest of the Tournament to respond to. I think there are a lot of folks sitting on the fence and every bit of information that is relayed would help boost entries. At this point, I would be guessing confirmed entries are perhaps 50%. May not be a bad idea to just have the entry at $1000 and forget trying to use it as an enticement. Already extended it and will look desperate if it keeps getting extended, thus may impact the overall amount of entries. I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about these topics.

RE: South Dakota Walleye Classic
Foos,
Information from a couple weeks ago showed great promise of this tournament filling. What information do you have that says it's at 50 percent? Please use your name if you want to post rumor or gossip. For those of us that are fishing this wonderful event, hopefully your comments are meant to help them achieve their goal. This group has done a wonderful job of promoting and organizing. Some of the biggest names in Walleye fishing have paid their entry. Thanks to the staff for promoting one of South Dakota's best resources, fishing on Lake Oahe. Lynn Jurrens Watertown, SD PS- Four other Pros from the Watertown area have signed up in the last couple weeks. |

RE: South Dakota Walleye Classic
Mr Curious 1,
I will answer your question when I know who you are, but thanks for the question. For the meantime, without their approval, the initials of the 5 pros that have paid are BG, AD, KK, JC and myself. I'm not blowing smoke up your yahoo.com!!!!! This tournament will be a success even with a few negative comments by the 'unknowns'. Everyone might as well join the fun in Akaska that week. I've not seen Johnny Holm since the days of the ShowBoat Ballroom in Lake Benton, MN. The fights rivaled Ultimate Fighting and the drive from SDSU in Brookings is a tainted college memory. We'll see everyone in Akaska for a good old fashioned, small town celebration. Lynn Jurrens |

Pete Harsh has signed up and paid his entry. James Gordon from Jimmie's Pizza will be there if his job obligations permit. Should be a good bite and a good time. You won't want to miss this one. See you there.
