I thought about the same thing yesterday. In years past my wife's coworker would organize a nice tournament bracket event where everyone would throw in $5.00 for fun and bragging rights. Unfortunately, Mike passed away this past year and we didn't put it together for 2017. It was a pretty fun thing to follow with family and friends. Maybe next year we will get it going again.

I haven't even studied the brackets enough to form an opinion on who can win it all, but Duke has a shot. Lived in Durham,NC for five years and watched many a game in the cracker box they call a stadium during their run to the National Championship during the 1990-1994 years.

So sorry to hear about Mike . . . my younger son Billy is running the bracket thing again this year.... I took 2nd place last year and won $30 bucks......first place was over $300....this year first place is over $400. . . . GO DUKE ! ! !

Emerald Shiners have been $7 a "dip" (about 4 doz) . . .SCREW THAT . . . but for those who know how and when to dip them they are FREE by the millions. . . . my favorite 4 letter word . LOL

And I don't blame your bride for writing you a "check" now she has proof positive you receive your winnings....... LOL

I think you really meant to say "Go Heels" but you made some serious typographical errors and wrote Duke instead.

I hit every game correctly yesterday and went to bed 16/16. I thought I was really going to tear up the pool this year. Yeah, that was until my brackets turned down hill today as I've already missed 4 games, 2 of which were only by 1 point. Oh well, it's all for fun right? Well, that and $100...

Now you've done it...you had to bring Carolina into the conversation.

Since you picked Notre Dame to win yesterday, you must have them going out to the final 4. You can agree that the Domers were just toying with the Princeton Puutty Tats

I do like Notre Dame this year and really pulled for them in the ACC Tournament Championship game against D-O-O-K. There were some really good games yesterday and the ND-Princeton game was a nail biter for sure. MI State had a scary slow start against Miami but came back swinging and put the smackdown on 'em. We'll see how next round goes. ND to the Sweet 16 but then they'll have to play the Zags. I think their run stops there but who knows?
