Default Church Boards for salmon

Have a lake with with 7-20 lb Chinook that run high in the spring. Have not used inline boards before., have always used a mast and side planners. Picked up a couple of Church Boards. Do I need tattle flags? Not a lite biting fish.
Thanks

No tattle flags needed. My past experience on Lake Michigan is you'll definitely
Know when a chinook grabs your bait behind a board!

Wavemaker is spot on! The tattletales just make it worse when a big king dives an entire board. There's no mistaking having a fish hooked up.

Yep, just set your drag right. Just tight enough not to slip on an outside turn.

When a fish hits your clicker will sound the alarm!
