Default Yamaha F150

i bought a new boat this year went out last night to learn how to use si when we got back loaded the boat up put the cover on when i trimed the motor down the motor started turning over went to the shift handel and hit the trim it turned over there as well when i got home tonight i put the key to on and hit the trim and it started has any one ever heard of this i called the dealear but have not heard back

You got a short somewhere.....No way your motor should turn over when you hit the trim switch.


Its new? Take it back to the dealer and make them get it right.

dealer just called there comming to pick it up tomrrow there thinking a screw went through a wire when riging my boat

I'd pull the positive cables off the starting battery right NOW, just to avoid a potential problem,,,,,,,,

Save the repair guy time and put a note on the dash that the batteries disconnected, maybe?
