What's the difference between salt and fresh water trolling motors. If I get a better deal on a salt. Should I get it ?

The salt is white, and the fresh is black. The salt uses parts that won't be affected by the salt water. The functions are the same.

So I've ordered my trolling motor, should be here Tuesday....and I'm going to Cabelas in Grand Rapids this morning to buy the Helix 9 Mega SI g2n.......Can't wait to see how this all works on my Waters....Lake Macatawa..cheers all
