I hear that the catfish are biting. I would check out the usual spots. As for walleye, I hear that it has been tough. I would try just trolling #5 shadraps in bright colors. Just work hard and keep moving 'till you find'em.

Which Beaver Dam lake are you going to be fishing? In NW Wisconsin?. I can help with that one but not the City of Beaver Dam. Let us know and we'll try to help. Take care!

I only know of the one near the town of BD and this is the lake that I reported on. Sorry if I was mistaken...

Trolling is very slow during the day with cranks. Tried spinners with worms behind bottom bouncers which produced small eyes but there is a good bite just as it gets dark. I've had the best luck using slip bobbers and small jigs 1/32 to 1/16 tipped with leaches fishing over rocks in about 3 foot of water. Last Sunday got 4 eyes 16,17,20.5 and a 21 inch and the week before that I got a 22 incher and some just over the 15 inch.
