Default WX1850 with Downriggers

Well, I'll finally get a chance to see how the Skeeter likes big kings in the boat. Hopefully the fish decide to cooperate.

Algoma, WI.

We usually get out there at least once a month (May - Oct) every year. So far this is the only trip this year. We may get one more in before winter, hopefully.

Good luck....Algoma is a great place to fish. Up and down the Lake has been all over the place this year, in terms of where the fish are, but seems like things have settled in to "normal" patterns the last few weeks. Don't forget to grab a steelhead or two!!

Have fun!

BTW....who makes those downriggers???

The mounts are Berts. The riggers are some Cannons. I've had them since...........................................19 90 probably.

Just returned with some 20-25lb kings with a similar setup (Ranger with Cannons). Worked great .... after catching a few large Kings I may never walleye fish again, LOL.

FYI, the Cannons also worked well for walleye (25" to 31" range) when it was too rough to get on the big water for salmon.

That is awesome. Congrats. I hope we can have the calm waters and big kings like you did.
