The bigger v6 motors they have added another oil injector to lube the piston skirts separately
So the inprovements keep comming there are a lot of these motors out there with tons of hours on them
You will hear a lot about failures because a guy has to vent but I think there is a lot more success stories that you probably won't hear about
I would not hesitate buying a used one just because it's a e-tec
