Ya, Al Tani (sp?) has a great site for pictures.

I was hoping for a site muliple people could add to, kind of a group photo bucket, possibly with only a couple with delete powers and maybe a password gotten here on the WC site/HGT section ???

Sounds good, thanks.

Might work for pictures of lure making, knot tying or anything that takes a few steps or more.

I'm new to this board and I am a tackle crafter. I have cast jigs for over 45 years and spend more time today injecting my own plastic baits that range from crappie-sized bait to walleye baits and even a few ice fishing panfish baits.

Here's a walleye bait I conjured up this morning in answer to another post in another site.

VERY nice. Welcome aboard.

I keep threatening to get into making my own plastics. May have to pick your brain on the basics on getting started.

Feel free 2xl. I have about thirty different molds, mostly crappie and walleye. What you'll find is that its not the shape or profiles so much as it is colors that can be made. Here's a basic 4" frog with paddle feet that has a Nascar look to it. Can't find colors like this in a store on a peg.

And thanks for the Welcome!

NICE.

That's why I got into making my own jigs/bucktails years ago. To be honest, I first got into it thinking how much money I would save pouring my own jigs. 30 odd molds, On my second LEE pot, a ton of paint, hooks, bucktails etc. WRONG! LOL Like you said, now I can make/paint stuff you just can't buy.

I did start into plastics about 6-7-8 - more? years ago trying to make a tube bait that was discontinued long ago. I had some success in the end but it was steep learning curve. I would like to get into making some ringworm/ringworm type baits.
