Abu Garcia Revo Toro Winch 60 for jigging?
Want to try Muskie jigging with Bondy Baits for the first time. Tried to do my research on reels for jigging but info on solely muskie jigging reels is limited. I decided on the newest version Winch 60 4.6:1 with the heavy 22lb max drag. Was this a good choice for this application? Seems like more then heavy duty enough. Gander Mountain has it for $219 after sale and promo code. Bass Pro and Cabela's want $279 right now. Any opinions on this choice?

Can't comment on it's performance for jigging, but I picked one up last year and it is a sweet reel. Its incredibly smooth, easy to handle, casts well and effortless to retrieve big stuff with the low gear ratio. I love mine!

NMG, The reel came yesterday from Gander. I agree, she is indeed a high quality reel. Silky smooth and I actually prefer the single power handle vs. the double paddle for a jigging application. Now time to load it up with 80lb PowerPro and get into some big toothies.

Yes, I put the single handle on mine as well. Love the feel.
