Default Wiring 36 volt

Well i finally got my 36 volt Minn Kota Vantage 101 and need to know how to hook it up so that i send 36 volts to the vantage in the back but i run a 24 volt maxxum 80lb in the front.

You are already setup for the 24v to the bow. We'll build off of that.

You need to add 1 more battery.

On the battery with the red (positive) wire running to the bow, add your positive lead to the stern (highly recommend a circuit breaker here!). On the 2nd battery you will have a black (negative) going to the bow, add a jumper from there to the positive terminal of the 3rd battery. From the negative terminal of the third batter run a lead to the stern.

Those two leads at the stern will have 36v.

You will also need to run a 12V to the Vantage to run the up and down.
