Default Fishing and a show with Hombre Robusto on Lake Erie

Been trying for some time to get out out with Steve. Weather and schedules been making it tough. Well the boy was on spring break this week, and after a few touristy days in NYC, we made the drive to port clinton to jump in the ranger.

Had a great time on the water. We got our limit and were off the water by 130PM. We had later start since we wanted to take advantage of the Best Western breakfast before heading out.

Steve immediately put us on fish, and since we are jiggers at heart, loved that morning jig bite. Lots of nice sized fish. Steves a riot in the boat, and really took care of the boy. He had a blast. I had a blast. Fun time.

I got to fish with Steve a few years ago and learned more about pulling in-line boards in a few hours than I could've in a full season on my own. The man knows his stuff.

Yes very knowledgeable fellow. Great personality. Good with people and kids.

We had a fun time jiggin. Been a while for me since I been pulling boards all along. But its just what the doctor ordered. The boy had a fantastic time. Oh, and jolly rodger had some great perch and lobster bisque.

Thanks, guys. I had a ball fishing with you and Matt. That kid loves to fish!

You difinitely picked the nicest of the days. Yesterday poured rain, and today the wind 'bout blew us out of the boat.

My timing has always been good. My decisions, though, are sometimes lacking.

Gonna see if I can "coax" a few of those NY walleyes hair jig style.

Mark, I too made the trek 2 years ago from NY and fished with Steve. He taught me a ton and kept me laughing all day! A true stand up guy!
