Default 3 Mile Lake, Union County, Iowa

My son and I went to 3 Mile in January ice fishing. Had a ball. We caught fish in every part of the lake. My compliments to the DNR and the county people who manage this lake. Great fishing and reasonably priced cabins to stay in. Now we are going back during the last week in May. Even bringing my wife, she loves to catch panfish. My question is: what part of the lake is the best part to catch walleyes, and what part is good for panfish during this part of May? We're only going to be there for 3 days so we don't want to waste any extra valuable time searching needlessly. Thanks for your help.
