Default Bay of Quinte walleye

I just bought a new lund rebel and would like to try for walleye on Bay of Quinte. Can anyone tell me where the hot spots are and where to launch the boat.Thanks.

You can launch at the ferry and troll east of the ferry. They are just making their way into the Reach. Try close to the gap.

Fishing been slow....well at least to me. Pass 3 outings didn't mark much on the humbird. Every trip, we got a few 5lber......slow....slow....slow. This time of the year, we should be hitting them hard with boards. Well, I will try some deep water tomorrow.

Default Quinte

Quinte. Has been very slow...the water levels are at a 46 year low so right now the most usable ramp is the one right in Picton Ontario. There is a ramp at the Glenora Ferry (east side) but again the water is low, there is no real dock and it is open to a west wind which could be an issue at times.Send me your email and I ill try to keep you updated. Also as mentioned check out the Quinte link.

Yes the water is low but the big reason for slow fishing is the temperature. It is just now colling down to prime temperatures. Things will heat up from the Gap to the cement plant. You don't necessarily need deep water in these areas as well.

Try and stay at the picton harbor inn. Launch there too. There is another launch on the other side across from the ferry. You can put your boat and truck on the ferry at no cost. It will save you extra miles driving around.
