I suggest a Moderator nuke this entire thread and end the embarrassment.

I see the 04 300m has a 3.5 v-6 In the earlier posts it was stated it was a Interference engine? I've had Chrysler NewYorks for years with that engine and have broken 2 timing belts with no engine damage, is it a Interference engine? Just wondering.

If I remember correctly 93-97 were not, 2008-2010 were. 2011 went to a 3.6 and a chain. I've seen broken timing belts in interference engines (not these) with no damage also. I'd buy a lottery ticket if it happened to me though.
Well I see that you have gone back and edited/deleted all your original postings on the vehicle . So the Honda is now a Chrysler 300 ? What year Chrysler is it ?
It is possible it was this car, I remembered REW's post regarding this and a lot of talk about timing belts within that post back in 2014.

As soon as I read Chrysler 300 I went back and looked because I swore it was a Honda or Nissan. Low and behold all we get is an edited post that says ===========

Lol. Shocked! I'm simply shocked!

Like I said.... BS from the get go.
River,
If I had originally said that the vehicle was a Honda, I apologize.

When I made the original post, I was quite shaken from the trauma of the morning.

The vehicle is a 2004 Chrysler 300M.

With everything working properly now, it is a wonderful full sized vehicle.

Be safe
You HAVE to be kidding me!

RWL,
Yes, the car in question is the same Chrysler 300 that was being addressed back in 2014.

The starting resolution for that situation was the installation of a Mopar - Crankshaft position sensor.

------------
However, this time around, it required a different motor and transmission to resolve its issues.

And you are to be commended for that. I wouldn't let a few "naysayers" or jealous people dissuade you.
